Mum went shopping.

妈妈带孩子们去购物。

She took the children. The children looked up. There was an elephant on the roof.

孩子们向上看，房顶上有一头大象。

The elephant looked funny.

这头大象看起来很有趣。

The elephant was fat. The children laughed.”Look at that fat elephant,” they said.

这只大象很胖，孩子们大笑着说:“看看这头胖胖的大象。”

“An elephant?” said Mum.”Don’t be silly.”

“一头大象？”妈妈说。“别开玩笑了。”

There was a storm. The wind blew. It rained and rained.

来了一阵暴风雨。一阵大风刮起。开始下起了大雨。

It was a bad storm. The wind was strong. It blew the elephant away.

这是一阵很强的暴风雨。风很大，把大象都刮走了。

The children went to school. The elephant was in the playground.

孩子们跑到去学校，大象在操场上。

The children laughed.

孩子们大笑。

The children told Mrs May. “Look at that fat elephant,” They said.

他们告诉老师May“快看这头肥胖的大象，”他们说。

“An elephant?” said Mrs May. “Don’t be silly.”

“一头大象？”May说。“别天真了。”

The children liked the fat elephant. They wanted it to stay.

孩子们喜欢这头胖胖的大象。他们想让大象待在学校里。

“Sorry,” said the man. ”We want it back.”

“对不起，”这个男人说，“我们想让他（大象）回到商场。”

“Look at the fat elephant,” said Biff. “It’s a flat elephant now,” said Wilma.

“快看这头胖胖的大象，”Biff说。“他现在又变成一头扁平的大象了，”Wilma说。
