other的相关短语（other的短语傻傻分不清楚）

与other, another 有关的短语有很多，例如有another,other,the other,the others,others，但是你分得清楚他们各自的用法和区别吗？不清楚的话就看看下面的内容吧！

other

1. other表示“别的”, “另外的”,只能与复数名词连用,这种情况下other做形容词,表示“其他的”，

但other前有冠词the时就可以可与单数名词连用。

例如：

other students 其他学生

the other son 另一个儿子

What other colours do you have?

你们还有其他什么颜

色的?。

2.the other：后面即可以加单数名词也可以加复数名词

例如：

What about the other reasons?

还有什么其他的原因吗？

This is her one daughter, where is the other daughter?

这是她的一个女儿，还有另一个呢。

the other加复数名词时，指的是一定范围内“所有其余的人或事物”,是特指。

而other加复数名词指的却是没有明确范围的“另外的人或事物”，是泛指。

例如:

How about the other adjectives?

其他的形容词也是如此吗？

Do you have any other questions about the job?

关于这个工作您还有什么其他问题吗？

3.other也可以做代词,但是做代词时一般不以原形出现,一般用以“the other”或者以复数形式“others”出现。

例句：

He contacted me, say he had this, that, and the other.

他和我接触，说他有这个那个，还有其他的。

We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.

我们有仆人来侍奉我们，但他们侍奉其他人。

当others和some对比使用时,是“有些”的意思而不是"其他”

例句：

Some cleaned the windows,others mopped the floor有的擦窗户,有的擦地板。

4.the others是“其余的”意思,表示在一个范围内的其他全部。

例如:

If you change one, you have to change the others.

如果你更改了这个部分，你就要更改那个部分。

Before we make any decision, we should listen to what the others say.

我们在做出任何决定之前，应该听一听其他人的意见。

another

1.another做代词

例如：

This shirt is too large for me. Please show me another.

这件衬衫我穿太大。请另外拿一件我看看。

2.another, the other作代词的用法区别。

the other 表示“两个数量中的另一个”,表示特指,总数为两个，the other是其中的“另一个”。

例如:

Give me the other one，not this one.

给我那一个,不是这一个。

The file can have one format or the other, but not both.

文件可以有一个或另一个格式，但不能两个都有。

another表示“总数为三个以上中任意的另一个”,表示泛指。

例如:

He didn't really believe that any human being could read another's mind.

他并不真地相信一个人能够看出另一个人的心思。

3.another还可以做形容词

例句：

I know you have not come back, should you go to another world!

我知道你已经不会再回来了，因为你去了另一个世界！

With it to be free to jump from one location to another location.

有了它就可以自由地从一个位置跳跃到另一个位置。
