playgame语法对吗（playchicken可不是玩小鸡）

暑假期间，有不少朋友喜欢玩游戏来kill time。而说起游戏，“吃鸡”绝地求生大家一定并不陌生。可你知道那句“大吉大利，今晚吃鸡”的英语是什么吗？

可千万别说“Good Luck, Eat chicken Tonight!”，在官方英语版本中，这句话其实是“Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner!”

说起鸡来，不光可爱好吃（鸡：你礼貌吗？），chicken的相关表达也很有趣，而且大多和“鸡”本身没啥关系。一起来跟阿研学习一下吧~

chicken除了除了表示“小鸡、鸡肉”，还有“胆小鬼，懦夫”的意思，作为形容词也可以表示“缺乏勇气的，胆小的”。因此chicken out真正的意思是“〔因害怕而〕临阵退缩”。

play chicken可不是“玩小鸡”，这是一个美式俚语，表示“（尤指儿童玩的）比试胆量的游戏”。

汉语里我们形容字写得潦草、不规整，会形容像是狗刨的，而英语则会说像是鸡爪子在地上随便划出的，即“writing is like chicken scratch”。

人们也常用“Don't count your chickens before they hatch”来表示“人生无常”。

spring chicken可不是“春天的小鸡”，这个俚语其实形容的是“年轻有朝气的人”，也常常用来形容年轻的女性。而be no spring chicken则表示“青春不再”。

chicken feed并不是字面意思上的“鸡饲料”，真正的意思是“很少一点钱，微不足道的钱”。
