Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The environmental issue is too complex to be handle by the individual.

Environmental problem raise the awareness of more and more people, which is a serious issue sociated with we everybody. Some critics assume that it’s too complex for individual to handle the environmental problem, and governments should be responsible for that. While defenders accuse that it’s necessary for our citizens to protect environment, even if we just do some little work to improve the environment.

Frankly, government is the most important charactor in enviromental protecting. It’s easy for government to accumulate volunteers to do efficient work like planting trees, collecting garbages. Also, some departments will work on reducing the pollutant created by cars. The restriction of cars, like cars of odd number is supposed to not being on road on Monday Wednesday and Friday, and cars of even is supposed to disapear from street on Tuesday Thursday and Saturday, lead to a obvious result.

However, it’s not enough only for gorvernment to devote to environment, we civils also have responsibility to protect environment. Governors have more important tasks than reducing pollution. It’s feasible for us to pick up litters on road when we see them, and always remember throwing our own garbages into garbage box. According to the research, there have been 7 workers lost their lives when sweeping garbages on highway. Why can’t we keep the trush in our cars and throw them to somewhere they should be? There are still many things we can do to solve the environmental problems.

More significantly, we should use more environmental friendly materials in our life. For example, when we go shopping, we are supposed to bring a paper bag, because paper can recycle, while plastic ones can not. Nowadays more and more people go to supermarket with a paper bag, because we should pay for recycled plastical bags in supermarkets. It’s a good way to urge us to use recycle materials.

From what have been discussed above, we may safely draw a conclusion that it’s not complex for individuals to protect environment at all.
