形容词比较级的用法

1.表示两者“相等”用“as 形容词原级 as 比较对象”

This pen is as good as that one.

这支笔和那只笔一样好。

Your father is as kind as your mother.

你父亲和你母亲一样善良。

2.表示“不如”或“不相等”用“not as/so 形容词原级 as 比较对象”

My pronunciation is not as/so good as yours.

我的发音不如你的。

3.表示“倍数”，如“一半/两倍/三倍/...”等用“half/twice/three times as...as...”结构

I study twice as hard as you.

我学习比你努力一倍。

This room is four times as large as that one.

这个房间比那个房间大三倍。

4.用“形容词比较级 than引导的从句”进行两者的比较

The earth is bigger than the moon.

地球比月球大

5.由and连接同一个形容词的两个比较级，可以表示“越来越...”

I'm getting fatter and fatter.

我越来越胖了。

There is less and less trouble every day.

每天的麻烦越来越少。

6.用“the 比较级... the 比较级...”表示“越...就越...”

The more you read, the more knowledge you will get.

你看的书越多，得到的知识就越多。

The sooner, the better.

形容词最高级的用法

1.形容词的最高级用于两者以上的比较，最常用的结构是：the 形容词最高级 名词 表示比较范围的短语或从句。在含义明确时，也可以将名词和表示比较范围的短语或从句省略。

It is the most expensive car in the world.

这是世界上最昂贵的汽车。

This is the biggest factory in Guilin.

这是桂林最大的工厂。

2.形容词最高级表示“最....之一”时，要用“one of 形容词最高级 复数名词”形式

Guilin is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

桂林是世界上最美丽的城市之一。

This is one of the best films that I have ever seen.

这是我看过的最好的电影之一。

3.形容词最高级前一般都用定冠词，但当形容词最高级前有物主代词时，则不用定冠词。

Today is my happiest day.

今天是我最高兴的一天。

Give my best regards to your family.

请代我向你们全家问好。
