礼仪水杯怎么摆放（哪只杯子是水杯）

要在一次社交晚宴时表现完美，男士女士包括儿童都必须熟知一件事：在西餐桌上，水，果汁，红葡萄酒，白葡萄酒分别倒在哪个杯子里。让我们一起来回顾一下正确的杯具礼仪吧。

Ladies, gentlemen, and also children, here is something you must know in order to have a successful social dinner: which glass is for water, juice, red wine, or white wine. Let’s review the proper etiquette together.

如果您面前的餐具和杯具按照如图所示摆放，那么哪只杯子用来盛水呢？

First, if your table setting resembles the below picture, in which glass do you pour the water?

如果按照下面这样的方法摆放，哪只是水杯呢？

Now, if you have these glasses, which one is the water glass?

似乎最后一张图片的摆放方法中，水杯的位置最为明显。杯具礼仪的规则如下：

It seems more obvious in the last photos, doesn’t it? Here are the rules:

只有高脚玻璃杯

If only stemmed glasses

如果您的面前只有高脚玻璃杯，那么水杯一定是那只最大的杯子，而且通常被放在最左边。可能您曾听到有人这么说：我喜欢喝酒，所以还是把酒倒在最大的杯子里面吧。这样做是不对的，一定要尽量避免。第二只较大的杯子是用来盛红葡萄酒的，第三只盛白葡萄酒。相信您一定认出来最右边的那只杯子是用来喝香槟的。

In this case, the water glass is ALWAYS, ALWAYS, the biggest glass. And it is placed at the far left of the line of glasses. You may sometimes hear people saying, “Oh but I’d rather drink more wine, therefore I prefer pouring the wine into the biggest glass”, but this is a mistake. Please avoid it. The second biggest is of course for the red wine, the third for the white wine, and I’m sure you recognized the champagne flute on the far right.

If there is a goblet

按照如下图所示摆放，水杯的位置很明显是最右那只大玻璃杯。而左边最大的高脚玻璃杯则是用来盛红葡萄酒的。

The goblet in the below line of glasses is clearly the water glass. In this case, it will be placed on the far right. The biggest stemmed glass here is the one for red wine.

如下所示，只有两只杯子的情况下，左边的杯子是用来喝水的，右边那只小一点的则是用来盛酒的，白葡萄酒或者红葡萄酒。

These rules also apply if you only have 2 glasses, like in this photo: Here, the left glass is for the water, and the second smaller glass is for the wine, red or white.

对儿童来说，如果面前的餐具这样摆放，可以把橙汁或者其他果汁倒入大玻璃杯吗？

Finally, for children (or adults…) if you have these glasses below, do you think you should pour orange juice or any other type of juice into the goblet?

答案是：不可以。午餐或者晚宴时不可以喝果汁，儿童只能喝水，成年人可以选择水，香槟或者葡萄酒。理由很简单：吃饭时喝甜饮料可能会影响儿童的食欲，我们都希望小朋友们能够健康成长，吃健康的食物。

The answer is no. You should not drink juice at lunch, or dinner, even young children. It should be water only for children, and wine, champagne or water for adults. The reason is simple: drinking sweet beverages may suppress the children’s appetite, and we want our little friends to grow up healthily with good food.
