儿童室内游乐场英语（游乐场游戏室操场）

★ 操场和游乐场英文都是playground吗？

★ 足球场和羽毛球场的“场”英文一样吗？

★ 室内游乐场是playroom还是indoor playground呢？

我们还写过游乐场、坐滑梯、游乐园相关英文的文章，见文末链接。

(1) Playground：游乐场，指有滑梯、秋千、攀登架等游乐设施的场地

所以，幼儿园的“操场”应翻译为playground。当然，公园里的游乐场也叫playground。

At the playground, everyone has their turn.

在游乐场里，每个人都得按顺序玩。

(2) Indoor playground：室内游乐场，有滑梯、秋千、攀登架等游乐设施

The indoor playground has a ball pit, jungle gym, and an inflatable castle.

这个室内游乐场有海洋球、大滑梯和充气堡。

在美式英语里，jungle gym指有各种攀爬、滑梯组件的组合游乐设施。

(3) Playroom：游戏室，可能有小型的滑梯，但其主要功能是看管孩子，以玩具为主，游乐设施为辅

The early education center has a playroom. You can play there for a little while after your class.

早教中心有一个游戏室。你下了课可以在那儿玩会儿。

Playroom不要和玩街机的游戏厅-arcade相混淆。

(4) Amusement park：游乐园，指有过山车、激流勇进等电动游乐设施的公园

What ride do you want to go on at the amusement park tomorrow?

你明天去游乐园想玩什么项目啊？

(5) Schoolyard 操场

Schoolyard-操场是一个大的概念，playground-游乐场、soccer field-足球场、basketball court-篮球场都可能是schoolyard-操场的一部分。

All Fourth Grade students, go to the schoolyard.

全体四年级同学到操场上集合。

The students are having a flag raising ceremony on the schoolyard.

学生们正在操场上举行升旗仪式。

(6) Field：运动场，有草坪，外圈可能有跑道

Applicable sports 适用运动：soccer-足球，football-美式足球，baseball-棒球，hockey-曲棍球等

The soccer field is soggy after the rain yesterday.

昨天的一场雨后，足球场湿透了。

(7) Court: 球场，硬地

Applicable sports 适用运动：basketball-篮球，volleyball-排球，tennis-网球，badminton-羽毛球，squash-壁球等

Go find your place on the court. We're about to start the game.

赶快到球场找到你的站位。咱们马上要开始比赛了。

(8) Rink：冰场

Applicable sports 适用运动：skating-滑冰，roller-skating-旱冰，ice hockey-冰球

You can hold on to the side of the rink until you are ready to skate.

你可以先扶着冰场旁边的杆，准备好了再滑。

Don't just stand in the middle of the rink.

别光在冰场中间站着。

(9) Open space：空场

The school has an open space for you to do exercises.

学校里有一块空场，你们可以做操。

(1) 亦可用open area；

(2) 做操是一个中国特色概念，我们的美国外教认为学生们做的广播操是group dancing，或者叫school-wide dancing。

有用户问，鉴于操场是一块开阔的、方形的场地，是否可以用square？答案是不行的，因为square专指城镇中心的广场。

(10) square：广场

My mother owns a shop in the town square.

我妈在镇中心广场有个店铺。

People crowded the square.

广场上挤满了人。
