锄禾日当午，

Hoeing in the paddy under the mid-day sun,

汗滴禾下土。

Sweat dripping to the soil underneath the plant.

谁知盘中餐，

Who knows that the meals in our plates,

粒粒皆辛苦。

Every morsel of them comes with toil and pains.
