1、no longer =not ...any longer 着重表示时间或距离上的“不再”。

2、no more=not ... any more 着重表示数量或程度上的“不再”。 如：1). He is no longer afraid of dogs . =He isn't afraid of dogs any longer . = He is no more afraid of dogs . =He isn't afraid of dogs any more . 他不再怕狗了。2).We couldn't stand it any more . = We could no more stand it . 我们不能再忍受了。3).They can't stay here any longer . = They can no longer stay here . 他们不能再留在这里了。
