《Up and Down》
Once there were two friends...
从前有两个很好的朋友......
and they always did everything together.
他们做什么都喜欢在一起。
Until one day the penguin decided there was something important he wanted to do all by himself...
突然有一天企鹅决定他必须要自己完成一件事情......
...fly!
......那就是“飞”！
He did own wings after all,
他用尽全力拍打着自己的翅膀，
even if they didn't work very well.
可是却没能飞起来。
Although that didn't stop the penguin from trying.
企鹅一次次尝试没有放弃。
And trying.
再尝试。
But nothing worked,and it wasn't long before he ran out of ideas.
但是在努力尝试过多次没有效果的时候，他决定寻求帮助。
The boy even offered him a go in his plane,but the engine hadn't recovered from its last flight.
小男孩想请他坐自己的飞机，可是上次飞行玩引擎还没有保养。
And besides,it wasn't the same.
再说，这是不一样的。
The penguin wanted to do this by himself.
企鹅更想靠自己来完成这件事。
After doing a bit of homework,it seemed as though the odds were against him.
在努力查找书籍后，好像不太可能。
So together the boy and the penguin decided it was time to ask for help...
因此男孩和企鹅决定一起去寻求帮助......
when something caught the penguin's eye and he knew this was his chance.
当企鹅碰巧看到马戏团的“飞行炮弹”招募，他知道自己的机会来了。
In his excitement,he rushed off without a word.
他兴奋地赶去报名，连句话也没留。
The boy didn't know where he had gone.
男孩不知道企鹅去了哪里。
The boy looked everywhere,and even thought he'd found his friend for a second.
男孩到处找，可是怎么也找不到他的朋友。
Although none of these other penguins knew how to play his favorite game.
然而没有一个企鹅会玩他最喜欢的游戏。
Meanwhile,the penguin had found the right place and was hired on the spot.
与此同时，企鹅已经找对地方并立即被雇佣。
Soon he'd get to fly...
马上就要飞行......
but suddenly,he realised he didn't know where his friend was or how to get home.
但是突然，他意识到自己不知道小男孩在哪里，也不知道怎样才能回家。
Later that night,the penguin couldn't help but miss his friend.
那天夜晚，企鹅情不自禁地思念小男孩。
Likewise,the boy could barely sleep for worrying about his friend.
同样，小男孩也无法入睡，担心着企鹅。
The next day,the boy tried to think of all the places the penguin would go,
第二天，小男孩想遍了所有企鹅可能去的地方，
when something caught his eye.
He didn't have much time.
当他的眼神被海报吸引时，小男孩意识到自己要抓紧时间了。
The penguin's big moment had come but somehow he wasn't so sure about flying anymore.
企鹅梦想的重大时刻终于到了，可是他却不怎么确定是不是还想飞了。
He wished the boy were there and even wondered if his friend had noticed he'd gone?
他希望小男孩在他身边，想知道他有没有发现自己已经走了。
But it was too late for thoughts like that.
但是一切都太晚了。
He took off like a bullet!
企鹅像子弹一样飞了出去！
The boy rushed in hoping he could still catch his friend.
小男孩想尽各种方法来救企鹅。
The penguin couldn't believe how high and how fast he was flying,and he had no idea how he was going to land.
企鹅无法相信自己飞得那么高那么快，也不知道应该怎样降落。
He was terrified and wished his friend was there to help him.
企鹅害怕极了，多希望这个时候小男孩能帮帮他。
The boy was there to catch him.
男孩伸手接住他。
The friends agreed that there was a reason why his wings didn't work very well...
他们对于企鹅不能很好地完成飞行工作的原因意见一致。
because penguins don't like flying.
因为企鹅并不喜欢飞翔。
So together the two friends made a break for home...
于是，他们一起向家的方向走去......
to play their favourite game.
回家一起玩他们最喜欢的游戏。
