不定代词与else连用（英语习语else的用法虽不是传说）

decided not to come.

他或许忘了，或许决定不来。

She's either really talkative and you can't shut her up or else she's silent.

她要么很健谈，你不能让她闭嘴，要么她很沉默。

有的时候 or else 还可以单独使用，置于句尾，用在需求结束时说的，此时也可能是轻微的威胁，意为“否则的话，要不然的话”，此时跟什么连词不连词的没有任何关系，例如：

You’d better remember to bring the baby bottles this time, or else!

这次你最好记得带婴儿奶瓶，不然的话，哼！
