1. 不定冠词a/an用法

不定冠词用来修饰可数名词单数，指人或物中的某一个或某一类，但不具体说明是何人何物。a用于以辅音音素开头的单数可数名词前。an用于以元音音素开头的单数可数名词前。

1.首次提到某人或某物，不定冠词起介绍作用。如：

I am preparing some notes for a report.

2.表示“每一”的概念，相当于every。如：

I go to the cinema once a month.

3.用于序数词前表示“又一；再一”。如：

He failed a fourth time.

二、定冠词the用法

1.指前文提到过的人或物或特指某人或物。

2.指谈话双方都知道的人或物。

3.用于序数词、形容词最高级前。

4.用于指世界上独一无二的事物。

5.在江河、海洋、山脉等地理名词前及由普通名词构成的专有名词前。

6.用于表示方位的名词前。

7.用于表示乐器的名称之前。

8.在某些形容词前加定冠词，表示一类人或物。

9.用于姓氏名词的复数前表示“一家人”或“夫妇二人”。

10.用于一些固定短语中。如：

in the morning, the day after tomorrow, listen to the radio, at the moment,

go to the cinema，by the way，all the time，at the age of等。

三、零冠词用法（即不用冠词）

1.月份、季节、星期、三餐、学科、球类运动、棋类名词前通常不加冠词。

2.如果名词前已有指示代词，物主代词，不定代词或数词等作定语，则其前不再用冠。

3.一些固定短语和习惯用语中一般不加冠词。如：by bike / bus /car, in trouble, in danger, at night，listen to music 等。

（3）in hospital住院 in the hospital在医院里

（4）in front of 在……(外部)的前面
