厦门经济特区建设40周年的贺信（厦门经济特区建设40周年）

在厦门经济特区建设40周年之际，中共中央、国家主席、中央军委主席发来贺信。在贺信中指出，40年来，厦门经济特区开拓创新、锐意进取，各项事业实现历史性跨越，为改革开放和社会主义现代化建设作出重要贡献，在促进祖国统一大业中发挥了独特作用。厦门经济特区建设40周年庆祝大会12月21日在福建省厦门市举行，会上宣读了的贺信。President Xi Jinping has sent a congratulatory letter on the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Xiamen Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in east China's Fujian province. The letter by Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, was read out on Dec 21 at a gathering marking the anniversary in Xiamen. Xi commended the SEZ for breaking new ground and conducting innovative practices and making historic strides in various respects over the past 40 years, adding that the SEZ has made important contributions to the country's reform, opening-up, and socialist modernization, and played a unique role in promoting national reunification.

【知识点】1980年10月，国务院批准在厦门岛北部湖里划出2.5平方公里，设立厦门经济特区。一年后，随着湖里工地上一声爆破巨响，厦门经济特区建设大幕正式拉开。1985年，国务院批准厦门经济特区扩大到全岛。此后，中央又相继批准设立海沧、杏林、集美三个台商投资区和象屿保税区。2010年中央又批准厦门经济特区扩大到全市。一系列政策叠加，厦门形成了全方位、多层次的对外开放格局。40年来，厦门经济特区凭借对台区位优势全面拓展两岸交流合作，以先行先试服务对台工作大局。40年来，厦门在两岸三通直航、经贸合作、人员往来、文化交流、基层政党交流等方面不断有“破冰”之举，持续深化两岸交流合作综合配套改革，建设两岸新兴产业和现代服务业合作示范区、两岸金融中心、东南国际航运中心、对台贸易中心等“一区三中心”，厦台集成电路、平板显示等产业合作结出硕果。党的十八大以来，随着自贸试验区、海丝核心区、金砖国家新工业革命伙伴关系创新基地等一系列国家战略相继落地，厦门正在从更高层面探索多层次、全方位、综合性经济开放格局。
