月影云边过，灯光树外虚。

Sitting Up at Night

Now old, I know I should stay put;

More than enough, I’m settled down.

I sit alone for the long night,

Reclusive from the busy town.

The moon casts a shade by the clouds;

The ethereal light pales the tree.

I look at sparks of stars afar;

Veiled by the sky the village be.
