看到这样一段对话：

A：My God, the queen is pregnant. Who did it?

B：The queen is NOT amused.

A：天呐，女王怀孕了，谁干的？

B：别瞎说，女王很生气！

女王很生气，后果很严重！

今天就来学习一下amused这个词：

amused： adj. 感到好笑的；感到滑稽的

Eg: Ellen seemed amused by the whole situation.

Ellen似乎被整件事逗乐了。

amusing: adj. 好笑的

Eg: The book is full of amusing stories about his childhood.

这本书全是有关他童年的好笑故事。

-ed指感到...,修饰人； -ing指令人...，修饰物

因此，Be not amused: 感到气愤的或极不高兴的。

Eg: I couldn’t believe he told a dirty joke in front of those ladies.

I was NOT amused.

不敢相信他会在一群女士面前讲荤段子！我感到很气愤！

当然了，这个习语也适用一些比较平常的场合，比如一个未成年少女晚上回家太晚了，父母很担心，一直没有睡等她回来，说道：
