梳头发用英文怎么说（此梳头非彼梳头）

中文里，梳头的“梳”有很多含义，用梳子把头发梳顺用它，把头发归拢到一起用它，把头发扎起来也用它。但是在英文中，不是所有“梳头”都翻译成comb your hair，具体用法请看下文，它是我每天早上给女儿梳头的情景再现，有女儿的妈妈一定会感觉似曾相识……

1. Let me put your hair up while you eat breakfast.

你一边吃早饭，我一边给你梳头。

Put somebody's hair up：把头发扎起来，亦可用tie up somebody's hair。

2. I can't get the comb through your hair as it's too tangled.

你的头发根本梳不通，都擀毡了。

如果你用的是发刷（hairbrush，简称brush），可以将上面句子中的动词comb替换为brush。

5. Do you want your hair up or left down today?

你今天想把头发扎起来还是梳披肩发？

英文里披肩发不叫hair on your shoulders，而是leave your hair down。

A wisp of hair：一撮头发，亦可用a bit of hair，一点头发。

16. Let me use a hair clip to put your bangs in place as well as the stray hair.

17. Now it's perfect. You look smart with a ponytail.
