一百零八将，指四大名著之一《水浒传》中梁山泊上的一百零八头领，由天罡星三十六员和地煞星七十二员组成。这一百零八人性格各异，各有所长，结局不同，是我国文学史上的经典人物群像。其小说《水浒传》同时也是刻画人物最多的小说之一。

黄慎生于清康熙二十六年（1687年）五月五日（6月14日），乾隆三十五年（1770年）84岁时尚在，卒年不详。画原作为黄慎，此画一出，后期各大作家纷纷模仿。此画长约:427cm，宽约:47.5cm；经专家老师鉴定为清中晚期临摹版，虽并非黄慎原作，但笔风极其精细，画人物，多取神仙故事为题材，初学上官周，后用狂草笔法作画。笔姿放纵，气象雄伟，深入古法，亦偶有笔过伤韵者。是其经典代表作，画面108将栩栩如生，传神到位，是一副不可多得的传世佳作。
