碰壁斋主

小径似行蛇，

远有溪声近不哗。

路转前山分断柳，

人家，

数间临水屋横斜。

镇日野生涯，

石上排杯酒半赊。

饮到黄昏人已醉，

归邪？

归不能时住亦佳。

碰壁斋主，本名卢青山，湖南岳阳人，现居岭南。辑有《壁下诗》《壁下词》《安归集》等。

The small trail zigzags like a snake;

The creek afar, here no sound it does make.

The way turns downhill to a willow break.

Lo, the home,

A few water cots slant facing the lake.

In the wildness loafs spirit mine;

Half on credit laid on stone is the wine;

At dusk I have drunk, shown a drunken sign.

Go back now?

I can’t; To lodge here it is also fine.
