Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix第31章第658页,是描述普通巫师等级考试的第二场考试 “咒语实践”。

本课学习需要注意 squeak, consult的使用:consult是‘咨询’之外的一个义项‘查阅;查询;参看’“‘Potter, is it?’ said Professor Tofty, consulting his notes”; squeak在本课含义是‘尖声说话’“‘Professor Tofty is free, Potter,’ squeaked Professor Flitwick (2014e: 658)”;在第497页,出现的另一个义项‘短促而尖厉地叫; 吱吱叫; 嘎吱作响’:“The only other sound was the slight squeaking of one of Madam Pince’s shoes”。
