一、核心单词：

四、牢记在心：

1. 名词：surprise 形容词：surprised惊讶的

2. furniture家具，是不可数名词，没有复数。一件家具可以说：a piece of furniture

3. 复数：

shelf—shelves, fisherman—fishermen, city—cities, country—countries，photo--photos

4. 过去式：

come—came, become—became, live—lived

5. 固定搭配：

come home回家，next week下星期，give sb a surprise给某人一个惊喜，move the furniture搬动家具，sound fun真有意思，look different看起来不同，what else其它什么，in Shanghai在上海，many years ago许多年前，a small village小村庄，many of them他们中的许多，from other places来自其它地方，some of them他们中的一些，from other countries来自其它国家，the Shanghai History Museum上海历史博物馆，photos of old Shanghai老上海的照片

6. let让，固定搭配：let sb do sth让某人做某事，let后面跟动词原形。

五、理解并运用：

1.There be句型的过去式：There was/were… 用法和There be句型的一般现在时相同。如：What was on the wall? There was a map on the wall. There were two photos on the wall.一般疑问句：将was/were移到句首。否定句：在was/were后面加上not。注意：There be句型的就近原则；在疑问句和否定句中some 改成any。

2. What be …like?表示“。。。怎么样？”，等同于How be …?如：What was Shanghai like?上海以前是什么样的？= How was Shanghai?
