ensure和make sure的区别（保证是啥是assureensure）

我相信大家在看到这几个单词的时候都是懵的吧，虽然它们是四个形近意似的词，但是它们在用法上面还是有一些细微的区别。今天Jack就带领大家来探索它们的异同之处！

assure(vt.)

assure:“保证，担保，使。。。相信，使。。。放心”， 用来表示向某人保证某事将要发生， 既可以用来确证某事， 也可以表示使某人确信，为别人解除某种顾虑，使别人相信而做出承诺。

assure的宾语通常是人或人称代词, 其常用结构为：

assure sb. of sth.，虽然assure后面不可以直接加that从句，但是可以使用句型assure sb. that从句。

如：

We assure you of our close cooperation about this issue.

我们保证在此事上与你方通力合作。

The document is genuine, I can assure you .

我能向你保证，这文件是真的。

I assure you that I have everything under control, corporal.

我向你们保证一切都在我的控制之下， 下士。　　

Tim waited a moment to assure himself that he was not being followed.

蒂姆等了一会儿，以确定自己没被跟踪。

ensure(vt.)

ensure: “保证，确保，使安全”，使某行为或某件事的结果得以保证， 即确保某事会发生，对某种行为或者结果有把握。

ensure 后不能跟人称代词或者指人的名词，而要跟事物名词或者抽象名词或动名词，也可以直接跟 that-clause， 并可以用复合宾语。 常用结构为：ensure sth.／ ensure ＋（that）从句/ ensure doing sth.

如：

To ensure nutrition and good health for you and your family，you should buy lots of fruits and vegetables.

为了确保你和你的家人良好的营养和健康，你应该买大量的水果和蔬菜。

We ensure good quality and durability of the whole machine.

我们保证整个机器良好的质量和耐久性。

The testing of our plans, structures and responses to ensure （that）they can deal with any incident is vital.

检测我们的方案、结构和反应以确保他们能处理任何事故，这是至关重要的。

I could ensure finishing my homework before 8 o'clock.

我能保证在8点之前做完家庭作业。

　 注：ensure还可以表示“使安全，保护”，结构为：ensuer sb. from(against) sth. 保护某人免受。。。；还可以表示“保证给。。。”，结构为：ensure to(for) sb. sth. 保证给某人某东西。

如：

He ensured the old man from being killed by the enemy.

他保护那位老人免受敌人的杀害。

I can't ensure to(for) him everything he asked for.

我不能保证给他所要的一切。

insure(vt./vi.)

在美语中，ensure常拼写为insure, 但意义有不一样。insure表“确保，保证，给。。。保险，以防。。。”，常用结构为：

insure....... against.......,不可以用from。

如：

We insure our goods for110% of order amount against all risks and war risks.

我们已经对我们的货投保了一切险和战争险，金额为合同金额的110%。

You need to insure your car against accidental damage.

你需要为你的车子投保以防意外损害。

reassure(vt.)

reassure：“使。。。安心，使。。。消除疑虑”， 表示安慰

忧虑不安的人， 使其安心， 放心， 恢复信心。 常用结构为： reassure sb.（about sth.） ／ reassure sb.＋ that从句

如：

In this position, you can encourage and reassure him, even while refusing to pick him up.

在这方面的立场，您可以鼓励和安抚他，甚至同时拒绝接他。

You have sought to reassure us that despite the 14% cuts across all government spending in the next few years we will still be spending at 2006 levels.

你试图让对此我们感到安心：虽然在新的几年内削减了14%政府投入，我们对此的投入仍然处在2006年的水平。
