“People”和“Person”的区别

Person强调的是个体，可以泛指man, woman或child中的任何一个，它的复数形式是Persons，但人们习惯用People代替persons。但是Persons这一复数形式更正式，法律文书和官方文件使用的多是Persons。

People强调的是群体，所以当说一个人的时候，不用people，当表示两个以上的人的时候，就需要用 People了。

其实，Three people和Three persons这两种表达都可以使用，但我们要根据不同的情境使用。强调个人时，三个人就是Three persons;强调整体的时候，我们要说Three people。

There are 40 students in our class, but only three people passed the exam.

我们班有40名学生，但只有三个人通过了这次考试。

The three persons often play badminton after school.

People person≠人人

其实“People person” 的意思是指：人缘好的人;善于交际的人。

Little people ≠ 少的人
