answer和reply（答复某人千万不要用）

前几天，听到学生说 I will answer after class，英文中有一些表达，多一个词，少一个词，意思完全就不一样了！比如今天要学的"answer" ，如果你经常说answer you back，answer to you , 看完文章，快改过来！

1answer sb back ≠ 给某人答复

answer back sb =顶嘴，回嘴

不是很礼貌的方式应对长辈，领导的批评

例句：

I'd generally talk my father round, but neveranswer back.

我会转弯抹角的委婉和父亲解释，从来不顶嘴。

* talk sb round=委婉的表达

I talked him around to my point of view（我委婉的表达了我的观点）

3answer to sb ≠ 给某人答复

answer to sb = 听从某人

例句：

answer for sb =替某人做决定

例句：
