高考常用的英语句型（一...就...）

在《新概念英语》经典版第二册第38课的难点部分出现了no sooner...than...和hardly...when...，这两个句型都表示“一...就...”。但是，在英语里还有不少其他的句型也表示“一...就...”，现在就来吧表示“一...就...”的用法进行一次全面梳理和分享。

一、as soon as（小学生应该都会的）

该句型可以说是所有表“一...就...”的句型中最为常见而简单的。它既可以用来描述当前的状况或动作，也可以用在过去的时间背景下。如：

I'll telephone you as soon as I get home

我一到家就给你打电话。

We'll give him a ring as soon as we get back.

我们一回来就会给他打电话。

As soon as he comes, we will set out for Shanghai. 他一来我们就动身去上海。

As soon as he comes, we will set out for Shanghai. 他一来我们就动身去上海。

Would you call me as soon as you find out?

你一弄清楚了就给我打电话好吗？

二、hardly...when（before）...

该句型的基本用法为：主语 had hardly done...when 主语 did...。使用时要注意：

1、该句型所描述的动作一般都发生在过去。

2、主句谓语动词采用过去完成时，when从句的谓语动词采用一般过去时。

3、hardly可以替换为scarcely或rarely。

如：

She had hardly had time to sit and have a rest when the phone rang again. 她刚想坐下来休息一会儿，电话又响了。

需要注意的是，有的时候，否定副词hardly、scarcely或rarely可以提到句首，但这时会引起倒装。如上面的句子就可以改为：

Hardly had she had time to sit and have a rest when the phone rang again.

Hardly had a moment passed before the door creaked open.刚过一会，门就咯吱一声开了。

Hardly had I left before the trouble started.我刚一离开，麻烦事就开始了。

三、no sooner...than...

该句型与hardly...when...的用法几乎完全一样。其基本用法为：主语 had no sooner done...than 主语 did...。使用时要注意：

1、该句型所描述的动作一般都发生在过去。

2、主句谓语动词采用过去完成时，when从句的谓语动词采用一般过去时。

如：

She had no sooner had time to sit and have a rest than the phone rang again. 她刚想坐下来休息一会儿，电话又响了。

需要注意的是，有的时候，否定副词短语no sooner可以提到句首，但这时会引起倒装。如上面的句子就可以改为：

No sooner had she had time to sit and have a rest than the phone rang again.

四、the moment 从句

该句型在使用时要注意的是，moment和从句之间不能再插入其他成分。如：

I want to see her the moment that she arrives. 她一到我就要见她。

【注意】

类似的用法，除了the moment之外，还有the minute/second/instant 从句。如：

I wanted to call at him the minute/second/instant he arrived. 我刚要打电话给他，他就来了。The moment she got to know the ropes, there was no stopping her.

一旦她懂行了，就什么也难不住她了。

I'll report back the moment I have located him

我一找到他就马上汇报。

People assume they know me through and through the moment we meet.

人们一见到我，就自以为对我了如指掌了。

五、directly/immediately 从句

该句型相对少见一些。其中的directly和immediately都用作了连词。如：

We'll come directly we have finished the work. 我们工作一结束就过来。

I went home directly I had finished work.

我一干完活就回家了。

I came immediately I heard the news. 我一听到这个消息,马上就来了。

Immediately she'd gone, I remembered her name.

她刚走开我就想起了她的名字。

Immediately I've done it I feel completely disgusted with myself.

我一做完那件事就对自己感到十分厌恶。

六、on doing

介词on后接动名词，也可以表示“一...就...”。如：

On arriving home I discovered they had gone. 我一到家就发现他们已经离开了。

On arriving home I discovered they had gone.

我一到家就发现他们已经离开了。
