外国人感受武汉（在武汉生活20年美国人感慨）

这两天，一组对比鲜明的图片刷屏了海内外社交平台。

左边是中国，大连海洋大学师生志愿者给封闭在宿舍楼的学生们运防疫物资，顶风冒雪，艰难前行。

右边是美国，特朗普支持者占领国会大厦，干扰大选结果，与警方发生冲突，导致多人死亡。

抗疫无能、选举混乱、种族歧视、民意撕裂……这就是此时的美国。

一位在武汉生活了近20年的美国人本杰明·威尔逊在2020年即将结束时感慨道：“如果生活在美国，我会感到非常害怕”（"I would be very afraid if I were living in the States"）。

身在武汉，回望美国时，

他看到的是：失望

来自美国路易斯安纳州的英语老师本杰明在接受美国全国广播公司（NBC）采访时表示，自己正在失望地看着美国国内不断发生的危机（watching theunfolding crisis back home with disappointment）。

疫情期间，本杰明居住在武汉，他坦言，尽管70多天的“封城”曾让他产生“被囚禁”的感觉，但这种足不出户的自我牺牲已经得到了回报。

Although he endured more than 70 days of strict lockdown, that at times made him feel almost "imprisoned," beingshuttered indoorswas a sacrifice that has paid off, he said.

他认为，现在武汉已经“是世界上最安全的地方之一”。目前，他更担心的是自己远在美国的家人。

Now, Wuhan is "one of the safest places in the world," he added.

外媒感到扎心了！

包括美国“抗疫队长”福奇博士在内的许多医疗专家多次提出警告称，美国的疫情只会更加糟糕。

然而，从政府到民众，似乎并不足够警醒。

当地时间1月5日，特朗普支持者、播客主持人克莱·克拉克（Clay Clark）在华盛顿特区的一场集会中号召活动参与者“互相拥抱”“大规模传播（病毒）”。

"Now that the epidemic has been well-handled, our lives gradually are getting back on the normal track," a retiree, Yang Xiuhua, 67, told NBC News.

疫情防控常态化

70岁的李传壁（音译）表示，虽然他现在可以在公园里锻炼，也可以和朋友见面，但他仍然很谨慎。

Li Chuanbi, 70, saidthat while he can now exercise in the park and meet with friends, he remainscautious.

Many in Wuhan still don masks and businesses check temperatures and offer sanitizer, in this city hugging the Yangtze River. But shops and restaurants are buzzing, schools are open and streets crowded once again.
