Scrupulous[ˈskruːpjʊləs]

1.正直的;有道德原则的;有良心的；Someone who is scrupulous takes GREat care to do what is fair, honest, or morally right.

如：

You're being very scrupulous, but to what end?...你确实刚正不阿，但图了什么呢？

I have been scrupulous about telling them the dangers...我已经本着良心将危险告知他们。

2. 细致的;缜密的;一丝不苟的；Scrupulous means thorough, exact, and careful about details.

如：

scrupulous attention to detail 体察入微、一丝不苟

再比如疫情期间挂在耳边的“勤洗手、仔细洗手、多洗几遍”
