in class 和in the class区别

虽然只差一个定冠词the，但是它们的意思并不相同。

in class这个词组的意思是“在课堂上;上课中”，侧重强调的是上课。

in the class这个词组的意思是“在班级里”，侧重不强调上课或在课堂上。

We are required to speak English in class.

上课时要求我们说英语。

Everyone in the class seemed eager to learn.

班上每个人似乎都热爱学习。

祈使句

通常用来表示命令、请求、禁止、建议、警告等语气。它的主语you（听话人）通常省略。其构成通常有以下几种形式.

肯定：

1. Be型 Be quiet，please.

2. Do型 Come to my office!

3. Let型（即Let 宾语 动词原形 其他）

Let me help you!

Let’s go to school.

否定：

1. Don’t be 表语Don't be angry.

2. Don’t 实义动词原形 宾语Don’t eat in the classroom.

3. Let 宾语 not 动词原形 Let’s not watch TV.

4. No V-ing型（常用于公共场合的提示语中,意为“禁止做某事“）

No smoking!　严禁吸烟！No talking！不许交谈！

No passing!　禁止通行! No parking!　不许停车！

Must与have to用法区别，见课本P111

1.must表主观, have to表客观需要

eg. My brother was very ill, so I had to call the doctor in the middle of the night。

我弟弟病得很厉害,我只得半夜里把医生请来。(客观上需要做这件事)

He said that they must work hard。他说他们必须努力工作。（主观上要做这件事)

2. have to有人称、数、时态的变化，而must只有一种形式。

She has to do her homework first when she gets home.

3. 在否定结构中：don’t have to表示"不必”；mustn't表示”禁止"。

eg. You don't have to（needn't没必要）tell him about it. 你不一定要把此事告诉他。You mustn’t(can’t不能) tell him about it.你一定不要把这件事告诉他。

学生必须对学习严格要求，老师必须对学生严格要求。

Students must be strict in their study and teachers must be strict with their students.

practice v./n. 练习

① v. practice doing sth.练习做某事

② n. Practice makes perfect.熟能生巧。

俗话说，熟能生巧。所以他每天练习拉小提琴。

As the saying goes, “Practice makes perfect.” So she practices playing the violin every day.

noisy adj. 吵闹的 反：quiet

【扩展】noise n.噪音

make a noise/ make noises 发出噪音

吃饭时发出声音是不礼貌的。

It's impolite(不礼貌的） to make a noise when you are eating.

relax v.放松

relax oneself “放松自己”

E.g Don't be nervous. Just relax. 不要紧张，放松点。

她通过听音乐放松自己。

She relaxes herself by listening to music.
