翠湖国家城市湿地公园、亚洲数字艺术展、舞剧、时装表演……外国友人近距离感受海淀魅力！

"Beijing Saloon, Experience Beijing" is a signature event by Beijing This Month Publications. Over the weekend, it has invited more than 100 diplomats, representatives from international organizations and overseas students to take a wonderful trip to explore the green high-tech hub of Haidian, Beijing.

日前，由中共北京市海淀区委宣传部、北京月讯杂志社主办的“亲历北京——感受山水海淀、体验创新之城”活动在海淀区翠湖国家城市湿地公园和亚洲数字艺术展展场举办。来自外国驻华使馆官员、国际组织驻京机构负责人、外国驻京商会代表、境外媒体驻京记者、在京的外国专家和在京留学生等100余人应邀一起游览翠湖国家城市湿地公园，参观亚洲数字艺术展，观赏舞剧和时装表演等，体验一个传统与现代兼美、山水与人文并存的美丽海淀。

— 漫步在国家级城市湿地公园 —

The one-day trip started at the Cuihu Wetland National Park, the only National-level urban wetland park in Beijing. It is an informative trip that allows the participants to learn about the restoration of the wetland eco-system, as well as the district government's future vision of building an ecological space in Haidian.

为期一天的活动从翠湖开始。翠湖国家湿地公园是北京市唯一获批的国家级城市湿地公园，公园内融湿地水景、湿地动植物景观、湿地文化、湿地小气候等于一体，动植物资源十分丰富，每年还会组织开展湿地日、爱鸟周等众多科普活动，是海淀区生态文明建设的范例之一。嘉宾们在翠湖国家城市湿地公园领略了大自然的旖旎风光，深入了解了湿地生态系统的修复建设过程、特点和功能定位等，对海淀区绿色生态空间建设和生态文明推广情况有了更加深刻和直观的感受。

I like the serenity of the place. I think Beijing is surprise to many people because it's actually quite green and very well taken care of. You can see that people take care of the city and every district you go to is very well maintained and has different things to offer to person. I like it very much.

There are a lot of parks in the city. There are a lot of trees. All the roads have lined with trees.

Huang Ying is deputy head of the district government's publicity department, the co-organizer of the event. "It's a quiet place with abundant resources of animals and plants, especially suitable for a family trip. It's also a good place to demonstrate Haidian's effort in protecting the environment in recent years." said Huang.

海淀区委宣传部常务副部长黄英表示：翠湖国家湿地公园是城区内唯一的一块湿地，所以它在涵养北京城的自然生态方面是一个非常有代表性的地方。这里非常安静，一些珍稀的鸟类等物种也很丰富，非常适合家庭旅游。这也能很好地展示海淀近年来环境保护成效和生态文明建设成果。

— 遨游在视听艺术展演 —

In contrast to the outdoor trip, the afternoon itinerary features a digital art exhibition with shows specially-designed for the international guests. The Asia Digital Art Exhibition is the first art exhibition being held under the theme of "Asia". It includes artworks created by 30 artists from 12 countries and regions.

下午的活动从户外转向了室内。亚洲数字艺术展是在数字艺术领域首次举办的以“亚洲”为主题的大型艺术展览。展览由中国对外文化集团有限公司、北京海淀区人民政府、中央美术学院共同主办，是亚洲文明对话大会系列活动之一。这一聚焦文化科技融合的主题展览落地海淀，高度契合海淀“挖掘文化科技融合新动力、构建新型城市形态，推动高质量发展、打造高品质城市”的发展战略。在“亚洲数字艺术展”的参观过程中，嘉宾欣赏到了来自中国、韩国、以色列等12个国家的30位艺术家所带来众多数字艺术作品，身临其境感受其中的震撼。

As part of the project with China Dialogue of Asian Civilization, the exhibition has come to an end after being on display for a month and receiving good reviews from visitors. It uses digital art to show the beauty of Chinese traditional culture. It will become a brand event in Haidian, and we will bring more high-tech artworks from around the world in the future, said Huang.

黄英表示，作为中国亚洲文明对话项目的一部分，本次展览展出了一个月，得到了参观者的好评。它利用数字艺术来展现中国传统文化之美。这将成为海淀的一场品牌盛会，未来海淀还将带来更多来自世界各地的高科技艺术品。

The participants also enjoyed a dance drama about a famous poet Na Lan Xing De from the Qing Dynasty called If We can Still Meet as Our First Encounter, as well as a fashion show featuring Chinese paintings.

为了让嘉宾更好地感受海淀的文化魅力，主办方还将以清代第一词人纳兰性德的生平为创作背景的大型原创舞剧《人生若只如初见》片段带至现场。《人生若只如初见》由中共北京市海淀区委宣传部出品，是一部创作于海淀、以纳兰性德为主角的新时代中国古典舞剧，展现了纳兰性德的传奇一生和家国情怀。随后，嘉宾们还欣赏了一场独特的时装表演，设计师以绘画作品为基础，取其中画面作为素材设计服装，并在展场用数字动画技术营造出一个独特的视觉场景，让人仿佛置身梦幻……一个个精彩纷呈的表演和互动将活动推向高潮，如此近距离体验和感受海淀区多彩的自然、文化、科技魅力，对于大多数嘉宾来说还是第一次。

"I like very much the fashion show. I think they were well designed and I also liked the dance. The dance was amazing." said a portuguese guest. Her portuguese friend also mentioned that the first visual presentation was very impressive. She said:"I've never seen anything like it. It was just like we were traveling along the presentation so I loved it."

两位来自葡萄牙的嘉宾非常喜欢舞蹈和时装秀，其中一位说到：“我从没见过这样视觉呈现的展示，我觉得我沉浸地遨游在整个展演中，我很喜欢。”

The "Beijing Saloon, Experience Beijing" has developed into a culture brand for expats in Beijing since its establishment in 2013. It provides unique opportunities to explore Chinese culture including Peking Opera, Kung Fu, Chinese tea and so on.
