岭南大学在2021年泰晤士高等教育大学影响力排名中的「优质教育」这一项目中，位列全球第三。并于2021年 QS世界大学排名中，整体排名跃升了20位。岭大学者在「论文平均被引用次数」 (Citations per faculty) 及「学生国际化程度」 (International students) 的排名，亦分别上升了21位和77位。此外，岭大在「教师国际化程度」(International faculty) 中名列世界前35名，岭大也在2015年被福布斯评为亚洲十大博雅学院之一。
