The lonely Thumb Princess was so cold and hungry.

拇指姑娘吃着花里的蜜，喝着清晨叶子上的露水，不知不觉间，就到了秋天。

The Thumb Princess ate the honey from the flowers and the dew left on the leaves at dawn.

拇指姑娘觉得很冷，于是把干枯的叶子盖在身上，走了很久。

The cold Thumb Princess wore a dry leaf and walked a very long time.

在森林里徘徊了很久的拇指姑娘，在一棵大树下发现了一个小门。

The Thumb Princess had been in the woods for a long time. She found a small door under a wooden pillar.

“咚咚~ 咚咚~ 请问~ 有人在吗？”

(Knock Knock ) “Hello ~ Is anybody there?”

门被打开后，田鼠阿姨从里面伸出头来。

The door opened and Mrs. Rat stuck her head out the door.

“看来你是迷路了吧？真是可怜，外面那么冷，快进来吧~”

“Oh no..! Are you lost? Poor child. It's cold out there.”

从那天起，拇指姑娘就和田鼠阿姨一起生活了。

From that day on, the Thumb Princess lived with Mrs. Rat.

田鼠阿姨仔细照料着拇指姑娘。

Mrs. Rat took care of the Thumb Princess.

拇指姑娘也帮助田鼠阿姨打扫房子，做其他家务。

The Thumb Princess cleaned the house and helped Mrs. Rat with her work.

秋风萧瑟的某一天，拇指姑娘和田鼠阿姨一起坐在火炉旁，喝着暖暖的茶。

One day when the breeze was blowing, the Thumb Princess was sitting near the stove, drinking a warm cup of tea.

“咚咚~ 咚咚~ 田鼠阿姨~ 你在家吗？”

住在地底下的富有的鼹鼠大叔来了。

(Knock Knock) “Mrs. Rat, are you home?”

Mr. Mole, a rich mole who lived in the ground village, had come to play.

鼹鼠大叔对拇指姑娘一见钟情

“哇~ 小小又漂亮的姑娘！你愿意和我结婚吗？”

When he saw the Thumb Princess, he fell in love with her at first sight. He said, “Wow ~ what a little and pretty girl! Would you marry me?”

田鼠阿姨非常开心地说道，

“天哪~ 真的是太好了~ 鼹鼠大叔可是这地下村庄里最富有的大富翁哦~”

Then, Mrs. Rat gladly said, “Oh, I am so happy for the two of you ~ Mr. Mole is the richest person in this land.”

可是，拇指姑娘并不想成为鼹鼠大叔的新娘。

But the Thumb Princess did not want to be the bride of the mole.

但是她也不想让那么开心的田鼠阿姨失望，于是她决定等温暖的春天到了，就和鼹鼠大叔结婚。

But the Princess did not want to let the delighted Mrs. Rat down. She decided to marry Mr. Mole in the warm spring.

拇指姑娘真是太幸运了

不过她并不想

嫁给鼹鼠先生呀
