"take the/a 交通工具”表示乘坐某种交通工具。
take the bus 乘公交
take the train 乘火车
take the subway 乘地铁
take the taxi 打的
take意为"花费”时，常用于句型“it takes sb. some time to do sth.”，表示“做某事花费某人多长时间。It took me 3 years to get the driver licence.拿到驾照花了我三年时间。
It will take us half a year to build the new bridge.建成新桥要花我们半年时间。
take还有“买下:带:拿”的意思。
How much is the jacket?I’ll take it.夹克多少钱？我买了。
Could you please take the trash to the dustbin?你把垃圾拿去倒，好吗？
The little boy took the book away after reading.小男孩看这完书就把它带走了。
