Is this是一般疑问句，回答是yes或者no. this是指示代词，回答要用it来代替它。

三、【重点语法】

1.How many people are there in your family, Chen Jie？你家有几口人，陈杰？Three．三口人

上句问句用来询问对方家中有几位家庭成员，how many可以用来询问人或物品的数量。它后面只能接可数名词的复数形式，所以系动词be一定要用are。

people表示"人们"，是一个表示集体概念的名词，所以people指人时后面不加－s。

句型结构为："How many＋人或物（复数形式）＋are there＋介词短语？"

there are表示"有"，在疑问句中are置于there前面。可以用具体数字进行回答。还可用句型"My family has＋数词＋people"进行回答。
