1、I'm in the black是什么意思？

be in the black=（账户上）有钱，有盈余

英文释义：

If a bank account is in the black, it contains some money, and if a person or business is in the black, they have money in the bank and are not in debt.

所以郭杰瑞说：I'm in the black!意思是：我有闲钱了

有钱就可以买大钻戒、拍婚纱照

例：

温馨提示：“穿着黑色衣服”一般用：in black

2、I'm in the red是什么意思？

be in the red=亏空；负债；有赤字。它和上面in the black意思相反。为什么呢？因为老外喜欢用黑色笔来标记盈利，用红色的笔来表示亏损，所以I'm in the red=我财政赤字了（我账上没钱倒贴了！）

例：

Are we in the red this month?

我们这个月出现了赤字吗？

3、I'm in the dark什么意思？

be in the dark=蒙在鼓里，浑然不知

英文释义：

to not know about something that other people know about

强调别人都知道，就自己不知道，被周围的人蒙在鼓里，也暗含某人应该知道，却没被通知

例：

①We're clearly being kept in the dark about what's happening.

对于现在发生的状况我们明显被蒙在了鼓里。

②Everyone knows Pikachu has a girlfriend, only I was in the dark.

每个人都知道皮卡丘有女朋友，就我被蒙在鼓里。

4、I'm in the family way是什么意思？

千万别直译成：我在回家路上（×）

在路上介词应该用on，on the way才对

I'm on the family way（√）

如果一个男生说出这样的话，会被人笑掉大牙的，因为它是“我怀孕了”的意思

口语表达：to have one on the way也有怀孕，新生儿即将出生的意思

例：

Did you hear the good news? Pikachu is in the family way!

5、I'm in Dutch是什么意思？

Dutch [dʌtʃ]荷兰的，荷兰人

I'm in Dutch可不是说“我在荷兰”（×）

我在荷兰=I'm in Holland

in Dutch=in trouble有麻烦的，不受欢迎的，所以I'm in Dutch意思是：我惹上麻烦了

例：

I think I'm in Dutch with her after the misunderstanding.

我觉得因为上次的误会，我已经惹到麻烦了。
