在雅思口语的Part 1和Part 2当中,经常会问到喜好问题,烤鸭们总是靠like和don't like两个干巴巴的词硬聊。所以,尽管烤鸭们都是有故事的童鞋,说出来的故事却是索然寡味的。

喜好在英文口语里面的表达是非常丰富的,下面就让我们的温思顿老师Mia为大家甩一筐干货吧。拿走不谢!

喜欢

1、Be into something

If you are very interested in something and like it very much, you can say that you are into it.

I'm into electronics myself.

我对电子乐很感兴趣。

2、Keen to do something / keen on doing something

If you are keen on doing something, you very much want to do it. If you are keen that something should happen, you very much want it to happen.

You're not keen on going, are you?

你不是很想走,对吗?

I wasn’t too keen on physics and chemistry.

我对物理和化学并不太热衷。

3、Be fond of somebody / be fond of doing something

If you are fond of someone, you feel affection for them.

I am very fond of Michael.

我很喜欢Michael。

She was especially fond of a little girl named Betsy.

她特别喜欢那个叫Betsy的小女孩儿。

If you are fond of something, you like it or you like doing it very much.

He was fond of marmalade.

他喜欢橘子酱。

She is fond of collecting rare carpets.

她喜欢收集罕见的地毯。

4、第一标题

If you adore something, you like it very much.

My mother adores bananas and eats two a day.

我妈妈很喜欢香蕉并且每天吃两根。

If you adore someone, you feel great love and admiration for them.

She adored her parents and would do anything to please them.

她很喜欢她父母,并愿意做任何事情让他们开心。

5、Be passionate about

A passionate person has very strong feelings about something or a strong belief in something.

I’ve always been passionate about football.

我一直酷爱足球。

6、Has / have a yearning for something

A yearning for something is a very strong desire for it.

He spoke of his yearning for another child.

他说起了自己想再要一个孩子的强烈愿望。

He always had a yearning to be a schoolteacher.

他一直渴望当一名教师。

1、Have preference for something

If you have a preference for something, you would like to have or do that thing rather than something else.

Parents can express a preference for the school their child attends.

父母对他们的孩子所就读的学校有所偏好。

Many of these products were bought in preference to their own.

大部分这些产品都是根据他们自己的偏好买的。

2、Prefer someone / something

If you prefer someone or something, you like that person or thing better than another, and so you are more likely to choose them if there is a choice.

I became a teacher because I preferred books and people to politics.

我成为了一名老师因为相比政治我跟喜欢书本和人。

I prefer to think of peace not war.

我更喜欢思考和平而不是战争。
