本期广播站请到了宏文学校成都校区2021届的毕业生Emily李佩真学姐，一个热爱跑步的阳光女孩。

In this issue, we have invited a Hongwen School Chengdu alumni from the Class of 2021——Emily Li. She is a passionate girl who loves to jog.

Q1：请先做个自我介绍吧。

Emily：大家好，我是Emily李佩真，我是2021年6月从宏文学校成都校区毕业的，现在就读教育学。

Q2：你觉得国内外在学习上和生活上有什么差异呢？

Emily：学习上：大学的学习和高中学习最不同的一点就是大学很大一部分时间需要自己去看文章并且消化理解，然后写essay。因为我选的是比较偏文科的专业，所以需要看的文章会很多，也会遇到很多读起来很麻烦或者完全读不懂的文章，和我之前学纯理科的时候跨度很大。

生活上：生活方面有很大的不同，我是一个人在校外的学生公寓住，住的也是那种一个人住的房型，有自己的厨房，每天就需要自己做饭，做完之后自己洗碗，包括出去买菜、洗衣服、打扫卫生等全都是自己做。

Q3：你去了大学之后最不适应的点是什么？

Emily：来英国最不适应的就是自己住。其实学习上都还好，大一的时候任务没有那么重，也可能是因为我选的不是理科专业，所以作业就没那么多，课也没有那么紧。

一个人住会很麻烦，前两周都还好，但是现在住了一两个月之后发现，每天都得自己安排做饭的时间，就真的特别繁琐，你还得规划好自己的预算。

Q4：你最喜欢你的大学的哪些方面呢？

Emily：曼彻斯特的国际生特别多，而且会举办很多活动，不过你得自己去关注都有哪些活动，参加这些活动就可以认识很多很棒的人，还可以参加很多很棒的社团。

Q5：可以用一句话推荐你的大学吗？

Emily: 排名很好！而且曼城也是个很不错的地方，曼城周边也有很多很好玩的城市，我已经坐火车去过几个了，这边坐火车也很方便的。

Q6: 可以给学弟学妹一些祝福吗？

Emily：我想对未来要留学的学弟学妹们说，当你到了一个新的国家的时候，你真的会感觉到很辛苦，也会很想家。而且英国冬天天黑得特别早，下午4点多左右就黑了，但是你一定要找到自己的兴趣爱好，来让自己忙起来。我觉得能选择出国留学这条路很幸运，因为你会比同龄人成熟很多，而且你掌握的生活技能也会比他们多很多，所以能出国留学是一件非常幸福的事情，最后我想说，加油！把考试考好，没拿到正式offer之前都是虚的，一定不要掉以轻心，祝大家都能去到自己想去的大学，去好好感受你喜欢的城市。

Q1: Hi, could you introduce yourself, please?

Emily: Hello, I’m Emily, I graduated from Hongwen school in June 2021 and am now studying Education at the University of Manchester in the UK.

Q2: Do you think there is any difference in school work and daily life between UK and China?

Emily: Schoolwork-The main difference between university and high school is that I have to spend a lot of time reading and digesting articles and writing essays on my own, and I have to read a lot of articles and come across many that are difficult to read or completely incomprehensible.

Daily life-I lives alone in an off-campus student residence, and I live in a room with my own kitchen. I had to cook my own meals every day and wash dishes afterwards. I have to do many things all by myself, including going out to buy food, doing laundry, cleaning the room and so on.

Q3: What was the most difficult thing for you to adapt to when you were in the UK?

Emily: I am not used to be living alone. The school work for the year1 is not that intense nor stressful. It’s just that, I have to arrange the time to make meals every day which is really complicated and time-consuming. I also need to manage the budget by myself.

Q4: What aspect (or aspects) do you like the most about your university?

Emily: There are many international students at the University of Manchester, and the school organises activities frequently where you can always meet fantastic people and join many great clubs.

Q5: Could you use one sentence to recommend your university?

Emily: The ranking looks good and Manchester is a nice city. The cities around Manchester are fun as well. It’s really convenient to travel to different cities via train in the UK.

Q6: Can you give some blessings and suggestions to younger students?

Emily：I would like to say that when you arrive in a new country, you’ll probably feel homesick and have all sorts of negative emotions. Also, it gets dark very early in the winter in the UK, around 4 pm. In fact, sometimes living on your own can be a bit boring, but you must find your own hobbies to keep yourself busy and not let yourself drown in bad emotions. I think it’s really lucky to be able to study abroad because you will be much more mature than your peers and you will have a lot more life skills than they do, so, again, we are sp lucky to have the chance to study abroad. Whatever you want to do, just go for it! Do your exams seriously, nothing’s certain before you get an official offer, so make sure you take everything seriously. I wish you all the best of luck in getting to the university you want to go to and can have a chance to visit the city you love.

Brief introduction of Our Members成员简介

这是我们的站长，也是我校广播站的创始人 —— 潘同学。她为人和善，做事积极向上，富有责任心，在这一年多的时间里她尽职尽责地为广播站做出了许多贡献，她曾经说过：“我很开心有这么多人陪着我一起努力。”

This is our boss and the founder of our radio station —— Pan. She is kind, positive and responsible. In more than a year, she has made a lot of contributions to the radio station. She once said, "I'm very happy to have so many people working with me."

作为小编认为的站里最聪明的女子，她做事认真负责，遇见问题时总能对症下药，在最短的时间内给出最佳的解决方案。
