英语现在进行时语法总结（三分钟搞懂过去进行时）

Hi! Today we are going to talk about the Past Progressive tense. Don’t worry, it is quite the same as the Present Progressive tense.

今天我们讲过去进行时，不要担心，它和现在进行时几乎是一样。你可把过去进行时看作是现在进行时的一种变化形式，区别只是应用场景全都成为往事，因此be动词也要用过去式。如果你忘了现在进行时，建议你先回头复习下，也两三分钟时间。

语法规则

Be动词过去式 现在分词

例如：

I was working out then.

我当时正在锻炼。

应用场景

• 当时正在发生的事

I was living in the village before 2000.

2000年之前，我一直住在农村。

They were working on music last night.

昨晚他们在搞音乐创作。

这个时间点也可以是过去某件事情发生的时候，通常用when，while，as等连词引导

The plane was just taking off when we arrived at the airport.

当我们到达机场的时候，飞机刚好起飞。

My dad was playing a video game while I was doing homework.

我在写作业的时候，我爸在玩电子游戏。

• 暂时情况（曾经是这样）

I was growing fast when I was a teenager.

我十几岁的时候长得很快。

Ken was working in a restaurant while he was in college.

Ken 读大学的时候在一家餐馆打工。

• 计划安排（以前安排的）

Jane was taking an exam the next morning. So she slept early the night before.

简第二天上午要考试，因此她前一天晚上早早就睡了。

He didn’t know whether she was coming.

他（当时）不知道她是否会来。

• 恼人的重复行为（过去的事）

Roger was always speeding before he crashed his car.

罗杰在撞车之前总是超速行驶。

Bob was often scaring girls with spiders when he was a kid.

鲍勃小时候经常用蜘蛛吓唬女孩子。

• 婉转的请求（比一般过去时更客气）

I was wondering if you could give me a lift.

我想知道你是否可以让我搭车。

I was wondering if you would like to go to the movies with me.

我想知道你是否愿意跟我一起去看电影。
