give back （to ...）归还（给...）

give sth. back = return sth.

You have to give back the books in 3 days.

= You have to return the books in 3 days.

I don't want to accept the gift, and I'm going to give it back to Jessie.

我不想接受这个礼物，我打算把它归还给杰西。

We will give back your money if you don't like it.

3、give out 分发，散发

同义短语： hand out

反义短语：hand in 上交，提交

Tracy helps the teacher hand/give out the papers.

4、give away 捐赠，赠送

More and more people give away books to the schools in the countryside.

越来越多的人们给乡村学校捐书。

He wants to give away all his toys.

他想要把他的玩具都捐了。

5、give up 放弃，投降

Never give up!

永不言弃！
