But it was you who did something surreptitiously and furtively in broad daylight. "Can I have a word with you?" Xinxin, you teacher, said to mummy when she went to pick you up. Mummy's heart sank a bit - she knew it must be about you.

可就是你自己在光天化日之下偷偷摸摸干了一件事。妈妈去接你时，辛辛老师说，“亲，能跟你谈谈么？”妈妈知道坏了，肯定是你有不好的事。

Xinxin told mummy what had happened during the day. You and another boy slunk out of the classroom and made it to the big slides which are usually off-limits to kids in the absence of teachers. Mummy could see in her mind's eye how the teachers gave a start, their hearts missing a beat, when finding two kids had vanished out of sight.

辛辛老师就跟妈妈讲了白天发生的事情。你和另一个小男孩儿偷偷溜出教室跑到大滑梯那儿，而大滑梯在老师不在的情况下是不允许孩子去的。妈妈可以想象当老师发现两个孩子不见了肯定慌了，吓死了。

When mummy checked with you at bedtime, you told her that you two first hid behind the chair and crept away on the sly when the teachers' guard was down.

晚上睡觉时间，妈妈跟你谈，你说你跟那个小男孩先躲到凳子后面，老师一个没注意你俩就偷跑出去了。

Xinxin also told mummy that you tend to make twirls on chair in class and refuse to meet the gaze of the teacher talking to you.

辛辛老师还说上着课你在座位上转圈儿，老师跟你说话时你也不看老师。
