内容拾珍

（1） 注意本文中两次Excuse me.的使用场景。这是一句非常正式的表达法，其一可以开启与陌生人的交谈，其二是一种非常有礼貌的打断或结束谈话的方式。

（2） take a picture of…，用photo也是可以的。另外直接用动词的photograph亦可。

（3） fine不光可以形容人的健康状况，描述一件事同样可以。

（4） appreciate比thank表达“感谢”要成熟得多。

（5） 表达“在…居住”除了用live，还可以用reside，而且后者有“定居、长期居住”之意。

（6） Just a second, Just a minute, wait a moment都是可用的，但如果是在电话场景就要用Hold on。

（7） 记忆与point搭配形成的短语，多多益善。point to 指向，point at指着，point out指明，point in 在…方面有作用/意义。

（8） nice是一个所形容的程度很高的词，既可用于物，也可用于人。

（9） look ( forward ) to sth. 期待…

（10） 除了good你可以用的词还有很多：terrific, wonderful, amazing, marvelous, excellent, remarkable，如果执意要用good，至少在前面加一个super。

（11） finished不光是finish的过去分词，其自身也是个形容词，表示“完成的、完结的、精巧的”。

（12） 当别人邀请你做某事，同意就说“Yes, I’d like/love to.”不同意就说“I’d like to but…”。少说no会有助于你的形象树立。

（13） 记忆两个本文出现的单词，未必常用，但必须认识：vendor（小贩），ambulance（救护车）。

（14） high school，也就是middle school，随着我国高中教育的普及，慢慢疏远你原来记忆的junior school和senior school的含义吧。

（15） 道别时说Good luck.要比Bye高明多了。
