Eyes: Oval, almost round. Large, but not bugged. Set wide apart, back into face, and on slight bias toward base of ear. Eye color independent of coat color except in the lynx points. The more richness and depth of color the better.

眼睛：近乎圆形的椭圆形眼睛。大眼睛，但是不应该像昆虫一样凸出。眼距较宽，略偏向耳朵根部。除了在lynx point色①中，眼睛颜色和披毛颜色无关。眼睛颜色越艳丽越深邃越好。

注解：

①雪豹的三种基因型之一，为重点色雪豹，同其他品种的重点色一样，应该具有蓝色的眼睛。

Chin: Strong chin, aligns with tip of nose in profile.

下颌：强壮有力的下巴，从侧面看，下巴应该与鼻端对齐，呈一条直线。

Muzzle: Full and broad, with large, prominent whisker pads and high, pronounced cheekbones. Slight muzzle break at the whisker pads.

口吻：饱满、宽阔口吻，有着显著凸出的胡须垫，以及明显的高颧骨。

Nose: Large and wide; slightly puffed nose leather.

鼻子：宽大的鼻子，鼻子皮肤略膨松。

Profile: Curve of the forehead should flow into the bridge of the nose with no break. Bridge of nose extends above the eyes; the line of the bridge extends to the nose tip, making a very slight, to nearly straight, concave curve.

侧影：从额头开始，侧面轮廓的曲线应该沿着鼻梁平缓的过渡到鼻尖，不应该出现折断。鼻梁的上端应该延伸到眼睛上方。鼻梁线条一直延伸至鼻尖，整个线条是近乎直线的、非常轻微下凹的曲线。

注解：

注意原文！豹猫并不是直鼻子！更不是凸起来的鼻子！而是略带下凹弧度、近似直线的鼻子！

孟加拉豹猫

Neck:Long, substantial, muscular; in proportion to the head and body.

脖子：长，结实，肌肉感十足；与身体和头部的比例均衡。

BODY:

躯体：

Torso: Long and substantial, not oriental or foreign. Medium to large (but not quite as large as the largest domestic breed).

躯干：修长、结实的躯干，不是东方型或者异国型①。中等到大的体型②。

注解：

①东方型：常见的品种有东短、现代暹罗，身材过于纤细；

异国型：常见的品种有异国短毛猫（加菲猫）、波斯猫，身材过于臃肿。

②关于孟加拉豹猫的体型大小需要多说几句，不可否认的是，孟加拉豹猫的体型越大，越像豹子，显得越霸气。因此很多繁育人也在拼了命的吹嘘自家的豹猫的体重能达到10kg，很多新人在购买的时候也会直接问多少斤或者从头到屁股多长之类的，形成一个很奇怪的类似卖肉的行为。但是事实上，猫咪的体型如果过大，罹患心脏病的几率也会大幅度增加，而且过大的体重对腿部的压力也很大，长期以往更容易患关节病。因此，孟加拉豹猫可以在合理的范围内追求大体型，但并不是越大越好。

Legs:Medium length, slightly longer in the back than in the front.

腿：中等长度，后腿比前腿略长。

Feet: Large, round, with prominent knuckles.

足：大、圆，有明显的趾关节。

Tail: Medium length, thick, tapered at end with rounded tip.

尾巴：中等长度的粗壮尾巴，尾后部呈锥型，尾尖为半圆型。

Boning: Sturdy, firm; never delicate.

骨骼：结实、粗壮，整体感觉扎实稳固；不可以纤细。

Musculature: Very muscular, especially in the males, one of the most distinguishing features.

肌肉：肌肉发达，尤其是雄性，肌肉发达是最重要的特征之一。

COAT/COLOR/PATTERN:

被毛/颜色/花型：

Length: Short to medium. Allowance for slightly longer coat in kittens.

毛长：短至中等的长度。幼猫允许有略长的被毛①。

注解：

①幼猫在出生不久后会长一层绒毛进行自我保护，即所谓的绒毛期，有的幼猫会有很长的绒毛，这样的绒毛是允许的。绒毛通常会在幼猫满6月后褪完。我会在后续的文章中更新说明，请持续关注。

Texture: Dense and luxurious, closelying, unusually soft and silky to the touch.

毛质：浓密、奢华、排列紧密，有着让人惊叹的“柔软如丝绸”一般的手感①。

注解：

①有些人对“柔软如丝绸”的手感表示不屑，确实对于毛质的体验如果不亲自摸摸看的话，单看照片和视频并不能体验到。实际上孟加拉豹猫的毛相对一般的短毛品种来说，还要更加短一些，而且毛更粗，正是这样又粗又短的毛造就了孟加拉豹猫与众不同的独特手感。当然了，这也是我们通常认为孟加拉豹猫不会掉毛的一个很重要的原因。

Patterns: Spotted or marbled.

花型：斑点纹或者大理石纹。

Spotted: Spots shall be random, or aligned horizontally. Rosettes showing two distinct colors or shades, such as paw print shaped, arrowhead shaped, doughnut or half-doughnut shaped or clustered are preferred to single spotting but not required.Contrast with ground color must be extreme, giving distinct pattern and sharp edges. Strong, bold chin strap and mascara markings desirable. Virtually white undersides and belly desirable. Blotchy horizontal shoulder streaks, spotted legs and spotted or rosetted tail are desirable.Belly must be spotted.

斑点纹：斑点应该呈现出随机排列，或者整齐的水平排列。首选能够显示出两种不同的颜色或色调的玫瑰纹，如爪印形，箭头形，环形（甜甜圈纹饰）或半环形，或簇状纹，次选单斑点（豹点）的花纹，但并不是要求每只豹猫都拥有玫瑰纹饰①。花纹与底色的对比必须强烈，使得花纹清晰，边缘锐利。侧脸的两条纹饰最好有明显加粗和像涂了睫毛膏一般的纹理②。下侧与腹部最好是白色的。最好有水平斑点的肩纹，斑点状的腿纹以及斑点或者玫瑰纹饰的尾纹。腹部纹饰必须是点状纹饰。

注解：

①虽然有但是转折，其实还是很明白的指出了一点，虽然不是要求每只豹猫都拥有玫瑰纹，但是即使在规则内，玫瑰纹也是比豹点好。

②chin starp为孟加拉豹猫侧脸从眼角开始斜向下的两条花纹，越明显越好。如下图所示：

Colors:

颜色：

Brown Tabby:All variations of brown are allowed.Markings various shades of brown to black.Light spectacles encircling the eyes and a virtually white ground color on the whisker pads, chin, chest, belly and inner legs is desirable.

棕色纹：所有类型的棕色是被允许的。纹理从可由不同深浅的棕色渐变为黑色。白眼眶。胡须垫、下巴、胸部、腹部、腿内侧的底色最好为白色①。

注解：

①规则明确指出“胡须垫、下巴等底色最好为白色”，因此对于网络流传的“黑鼻子豹猫为失格或者串串猫”的说法存疑。我个人倾向理解为，所谓的“黑鼻子豹猫”是由于木炭色或者黑色基因表达过多而形成的现象，而被裁判认定为木炭色或者黑色，而木炭色/黑色是不被协会认可的颜色，因而在比赛中拿不到成绩。但是需要指出的是，绝非暹罗串串，也并非一定有健康问题。

Seal Sepia Tabby,Seal Mink Tabby, and Seal Lynx Point Tabby: Pattern can be various shades of brown. There should be very little or no difference between the color of the body (pattern) markings and point color.

雪色：花纹可为不同深浅的棕色。躯干纹理的颜色和重点色应当几近相同或完全一致。

GENERAL DESCRIPTION：

The goal of the Bengal breeding program is to create a domestic cat which has physical features distinctive to the small forest-dwelling wildcats, and with the loving, dependable temperament of the domestic cat. Keeping this goal in mind, judges shall give special merit to those characteristics in the appearance of the Bengal which are distinct from those found in other domestic cat breeds. A Bengal cat is an athletic animal, alert to its surroundings; a friendly, curious, confident cat with strength, agility, balance and grace. It is a medium to large cat which exhibits a very muscular and solid build. Its wide nose with prominent whisker pads and large oval, almost round eyes in a slightly small head enhance the wild appearance and expressive nocturnal look. Its very slight, to nearly straight, concave profile and relatively short ears with wide base and rounded tips add to the Bengal’s distinctive and unique appearance. The short, dense coat has a uniquely soft and silky feel. The coat may be glittered or not glittered, with neither type to be given preference. A thick, low-set, medium-length tail adds balance to the cat.

综述：

孟加拉豹猫繁育目标就是为了创造一种独特的家猫。这种猫具有小型森林野外猫科动物外表特征和家猫可爱稳定的性格。记住这个目标，裁判将会给那些显著不同于家猫外观特征的孟加拉豹猫特别奖励。

孟加拉豹猫是喜爱运动的动物，对周边环境充满警惕；是集友好、好奇心足、自信和力量、敏捷、平衡性、优雅于一身的猫。

孟加拉豹猫是一种充满肌肉，体型结实的中大型猫。它的宽鼻子、明显的胡须垫、近乎圆形的椭圆形大眼睛都挤在一个相对较小的头部中，加强了其野性的外观，表现出夜行动物的特点。它的近乎直线的略微下弯的侧面轮廓，具有宽耳根和圆耳尖的相对较小的耳朵，突出了孟加拉猫的与众不同和其独特的外观。短密的披毛有着柔软丝滑的手感。有没有金沙并无好坏之分。一条粗壮、中等长度的低位尾巴增加了猫的平衡感。

ALLOWANCES:

ALLOWANCES: Smaller size, in balanced proportion, of females. Slightly longer coat in kittens. Jowls in adult males. Eyes slightly almond shaped. Mousy undercoat. Paw pads not consistent with color group description.

允许的情况：

比例平衡的情况下，允许母猫有更小的身体；允许幼猫有略长的披毛；允许公猫有腮肉；允许有略微呈现杏仁状眼睛；允许有褐色底毛；允许爪垫与他们的色系说明不一致①。

注解：

①在之前网上流传的版本中，爪垫颜色不一致为失格，是错误的，实际上是被规则所允许的。虽然下图并非来自孟加拉豹猫，但是孟加拉豹猫允许出现这样的花爪爪。

花爪爪

PENALIZE: Spots on body running together vertically forming a mackerel tabby pattern on spotted cats; circular bulls-eye pattern on marbled cats; substantially darker point color (as compared to color of body markings) in Seal Sepia, Seal Mink, or Seal Lynx Point cats. Any distinct locket on the neck, chest, abdomen or any other area.

扣分项：点状纹饰的猫身上，点状纹连在一起形成垂直的鲭鱼斑①一般的花型；

大理石花纹的身上，出现牛眼纹；

雪豹上有大量的较暗重点色（与躯干纹理颜色相比）②；

颈部，胸部，腹部或其他任何地方有明显的项链坠饰状纹路③。

注解：

①鲭鱼的图片如下，即垂直分布的连在一起的线条状花纹，这样的花纹是扣分项。常见的就是所谓的ribbar。也就是说，ribbar并非对比赛没影响，也就是说之前网上流传的ribbar对比赛没影响的说法是错误的。不管是从市场喜好出发还是比赛出发，都是有影响的。

②即，雪豹最好不要表现出类似暹罗猫一样的黑脸黑耳朵黑爪子黑尾巴的重点色性状，但是如果表现出来也并无大碍，只是在比赛中会被扣分，并不代表着这样的雪豹是失格的或者是串串。

③locket指的是如下图中红色箭头所指位置的纹理，类似项链坠饰。

WITHHOLD ALL AWARDS (WW):

Belly not patterned.

失格部分：

腹部没有斑点①。

注解：

①关于TICA的孟加拉豹猫标准，书面列出的失格部分只有此项。但是，在WCF的规则中，却是另外一项，“豹猫身上不允许有白色色块”。其实这两个协会说的基本是一回事，“白色色块”的描述中是包含了腹部是纯白色没有斑点这一项的，除此之外，典型的白色色块还有八字脸、白手套等，而且这些性状，即使在TICA协会主办的比赛中，也是一律失格。同时这里需要澄清的一点，“白色色块”绝不是网上流传的所谓的白肚子金豹是失格，恰恰相反，孟加拉豹猫的白色点状腹部是很好的，失格的是，没有斑点的白色腹部，即腹部有白色色块。

TICA通用规则：

Temperament must be unchallenging; any sign of definite challenge shall disqualify.

性格必须毫无攻击性，有任何挑衅的行为即为失格。

The cat may exhibit fear, seek to flee, or generally complain aloud but may not threaten to harm.

猫可以表现出恐惧，想逃跑，或者大叫，但绝不可以由此表现出任何伤害人的倾向。

In accordance with Show Rules, ARTICLE SIXTEEN, the following shall be considered mandatory disqualifications:

根据比赛规则第十六条，如果发生以下行为，将被强制失格：

a cat that bites (216.9),

咬人。

a cat showing evidence of intent to deceive (216.10)

有证据表明（人）有隐藏猫的缺陷的行为。

adult whole male cats not having two descended testicles (216.11)

成年公猫单睾丸。

cats with all or part of the tail missing , except as authorized by a Board approved standard (216.12.1)

除了协会批准的情况外，部分或者全部尾巴缺失。

cats with more than five toes on each front foot and four toes on each back foot, unless proved the result of an injury or as authorized by a Board approved standard (216.12.2)

猫前爪应该有5个指头，后爪有4个指头，除非由协会证明是由于受伤造成的或者是被批准的品种规则。

visible or invisible tail faults if Board approved standard requires disqualification (216.12.4),

可见或者不可见的尾部问题①，会被取消比赛资格。

注解：

①比如先天尾巴缺失、打卷、折尾等。

crossed eyes if Board approved standard requires disqualification (216.12.5),

交叉眼，会被取消比赛资格。

total blindness (216.12.6),

完全失明。

markedly smaller size, not in keeping with the breed (216.12.9),

不符合品种要求的明显较小的身体尺寸。

and depression of the sternum or unusually small diameter of the rib cage itself (216.12.11.1).

胸骨发育异常。
