call 是出镜率很高的单词，作动词时对应的短语动词也比较丰富，其中 call in 就是其中一个，它不仅只有“打电话来”的意思。

一、call in (to some place) 最常见的意思是“打电话来”，通常是打给你工作的单位，例如：

She hasn't called in with her schedule yet.

她还没有打电话告诉我她的日程安排。

Call in to this radio station and ask the governor a question.

打电话到这个电台，问负责人一个问题。

解析：ask sb (about) sth 表示询问某人关于某事。

I have to call in to the office at noon.
