The Little Princess had WONDERFUL teeth.
小公主的牙齿很好。
She counted them every morning.
她每天早上都数一数。
Then she cleaned them…

…then she counted them again.
. . .然后再数一遍。
She had TWENTY.
她有二十颗牙齿。
Some of her friends had fewer than twenty teeth.
她的一些朋友只有不到二十颗牙齿。
But They were not ROYAL.

Her little brother, who WAS royal,
她的小弟弟是皇室家族的，
had NO teeth at all.
但一颗牙齿也没有。
"Havent I got wonderful teeth?" said the little Princess.
“我的牙齿好吗？”小公主说。
"In smart straight lines,"said the General.
“（您的牙齿）排列整齐！”将军说。
"Shipshape and Bristol fashion," said the Admiral.
“整整齐齐，井井有条，”将军说道。
"Havent I got wonderful teeth?" said the Little Princess.
“难道我的牙齿不好吗？”小公主说。
"ROYAL teeth!"said the King.
“皇家牙齿！”国王说。
So every night,
因此，每天晚上，
the Little Princess cleaned the royal teeth again.
小公主再次清洗她的皇家牙齿。
"Your wonderful teeth are because you eat all the right things," said the Cook.

"You can count them if you like," said the Little Princess.

"AAAAAGH!"screamed the Little Princess.

"One WOBBLES!"

"AAAAAGH!"screamed the Maid.
“啊——！女仆尖叫道。
"One WOBBLES!"
“一颗在晃！”
The wobbly tooth wobbled MORE each day.
摇摇晃晃的牙齿一天天晃动得更加厉害。
But the wobbly tooth didnt hurt,
但松动的牙齿一点儿也不疼，
and soon the Little Princess enjoyed wobbling it.
很快小公主喜欢摇晃它。
And she wobbled it and wobbled it,
她摇晃它，摇晃它，
until the terrible day the wobbly tooth disappeared.
直到那可怕的一天——晃动的牙齿不见了。
"I WANT MY TOOTH!" cried the Little Princess.
“我想要我的牙齿！小公主叫道。
"You can have mine," said the Dentist,
“你可以拿我的，”牙医说，
"until your new one comes along!"
“直到你的新牙齿长出来！”
"I want my tooth NOW!"said the Little Princess.
“我现在就要我的牙齿！”小公主说。
Everybody in the Palace searched for the missing tooth…
宫殿里的每个人都在寻找那颗丢失的牙齿...
…but it was NOWHERE to be found.
...但却无处可寻。
"I WANT MY TOOTH!"cried the Little Princess.
“我想要我的牙齿！"小公主叫道。
"SHE WANTS HER TOOTH!"cried the Maid.
“她想要她的牙齿！”女仆喊道。
"Its all right," said the Little Princess.
“没关系了，”小公主说。
"Ive FOUND it…"
“我找到了...”
“…HE'S got it!”
“. . .在他那里！”
