1.一般情况下，大多数动词后面直接加-s,比如：

He works very hard.

My father walks to factory everyday.

2.以o结尾的动词加-es,比如：

She goes to school as usual.

He usually does his homework very carefully.

3.以s,sh,ch,x等结尾的动词加-es ,比如：

My grandfather watches TV every night.

My son always finishes homework before ten o`clock every Sunday.

Every time his watch has stopped,he always fixes it by himself.

4.以辅音字母 y的动词，把y变成i再加-es,比如：

In summer,he always carries an umbrella.

5.以元音字母 y结尾的动词直接加s.
