【说在前面】本人对品牌有洁癖，从不找托儿做评论，因此评论增加少，有时挤兑的比点赞的多，反倒幸运避开了Amazon打击虚假评论关店潮。今天收到美国一个真正懂机械表的顾客评论，完全被感动，不得不分享。

Great time piece! I received the watch this weekend. I wound it and wore it for a full day, then I took it off to measure the power reserve on my own (the amount of time that the watch will keep working (ticking) without being worn or hand wound). It lasted 45 hours almost to the minute. Rather impressive for a Chinese movement, given the fact that many of the Swiss ETA movements are rated for 42 hours of power reserve. In addition to that, I hacked the movement (set the exact seconds by pulling out the crown ) and set it with an atomic digital clock with seconds, and it did not lose a second in the forty plus hours that I kept checking its accuracy.After digging deeper, I found out some interesting things about this watch. SURVAN is a watch designer which has its watches made by a Chinese watch company called TIME100. In my particular watch's case, SURVAN used pretty high quality components. 316L stainless steel for the polished case, a sapphire crystal, made it water resistant to 5 ATM (150 feet), and used a Seagull tourbillon 2525 movement with a double bridge. This movement allows you to switch from automatic to hand-winding, it allows hacking (setting of the seconds), has 25 jewels, beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour, and has a 45 to 48 hour power reserve. This is a Chinese movement made by Tianjin Seagull Watch Industry Group, Ltd in China with Swiss machinery and with Swiss tooling according to Swiss plans. Therefore, IMHO you are getting the best of both worlds, a Swiss engineered movement at made in China prices. Just FYI, Seagull is the world's largest mechanical watch movement manufacturer and supplier in the world, and their movements are well respected in the horological community. I hope that this helps.When I read some of these reviews and statements, I often ask myself how much experience the person who is writing them has with actual automatic watches. My opinion is coming from someone who currently owns 9 Rolex watches, a Patek, an AP Royal Oak, several Omegas, a Lange, a JLC, an FPJ several TAGs, IWC, Zenith and several other automatic watches. Do not misunderstand me, this is not a Rolex, nor is it a Swiss made watch, but for a piece that I bought out of sheer curiosity, it impressed me sufficiently to make it part of my collection. (Just for grins, to compare the smoothness of the movements, I set it up next to one of my Rolexes and made a video (see it in this review). I must say that I was pleasantly surprised, especially when you consider the astronomical difference in price.Just take it for what it is, a well made watch from China using Swiss machinery, and tooling with Swiss plans.If you like the looks and the complications, give it a shot and buy it. I think that even if you are a Swiss watch snob ;-), you will be pleasantly surprised by the build quality, the movement, and the complications.To get anything close to this in a Swiss watch, you are talking about spending thousands of dollars if not tens of thousands. Besides, in my humble opinion, it is a beautiful time piece that is fun to look at, feels great on the wrist, and keeps accurate time. What more do you really need in a watch? The only thing that I did change to suit my taste better, was the band, for a 22mm EACHE stainless steel thick mesh watch band ($20) (See the pictures in my review).Remember that this watch is several hundred dollars and not several thousand as its Swiss counterpart would cost. I think that it is a steal at this price point. Survan has done a great job with designing a unique looking automatic time piece that keeps great time.If you are curious, I put it next to one of my Rolexes for comparison of the sweeping hand. See the attached video. Obviously it is not as smooth as the sweeping hand of a Rolex, but it is still a very smooth movement.In a nutshell. IMHO, this watch is a tremendous buy at this price point. Buy it, try it, and make sure that you wear it or wind it, it is after all, an automatic watch, not a battery driven quartz.It is very easy to set, it keeps incredibly accurate time, and it looks great. Make sure to use a wooden tooth pick, when setting the day and month with the push buttons on the sides, so that you don't scratch the polished finish.If anything changes in terms of quality or durability, I will definitely update this review.
