巴基斯坦有几个民族？今天我来跟大家分享巴基斯坦是一个多民族国家。

大家好，我是在中国生活的巴基斯坦留学生，叫严正平。巴基斯坦总共有72个民族，巴基斯坦的主要6个民族：1: Punjabi: 旁遮普族2: Pashtun: 普什图族3: Sindhi: 信德族4: Saraiki: 佐良木族5: Muhajir: 穆哈吉尔族6: Balochi: 俾路支族

旁遮普族

Punjabis are the ethnic majority in the Punjab region of Pakistan and Northern India，accounting for 44.7% of the population in Pakistan.旁遮普人是巴基斯坦和印度的北部旁遮普省的少数民族，占巴基斯坦人口的44.7。This group belongs to the Indo-Aryan ethnic group.这个族群属于印度－雅利安族群。The name Punjab literally means the land of five waters in Persian:旁遮普这个名字的来源是波斯的五个水域之地： Panj “five” - Panj是五,ab “water” - ab “水”。The name of the region was introduced by the Turko-Persian conquerors of India subcontinent. 该地区的旁遮普名称由印度次大陆的突厥波斯人征服者引入。Punjabis are the 7th largest ethnic group in the world by the total population.旁遮普人是世界上第七大民族。The estimated total population of Punjabis in Pakistan is about 92 million.巴基斯坦的旁遮普的估计总人口约为9200万。Punjabi identity is traditional cultural, linguistic, and geographical and is independent of historical religion and origin.旁遮普人的身份是传统的文化，语言和地理特征，与历史宗教和血统无关。

Pashtun is an ethnic group predominant in Afghanistan and Pakistan characterized aswarriors.普什图（Pashtun）是一个主要存在于阿富汗和巴基斯坦的战士族裔。This ethnic group forms 15.4% of the Pakistani population.这个族裔占巴基斯坦人口的15.4％。There has been a debate as to who qualifies to be Pashtun but the widely agreed view is the Pashtuns are Eastern Iranian people who speak Pashto as their first language.关于谁有资格成为普什图人的问题一直存在争议，但普遍同意的观点是，普什图人是将普什图语作为其第一语言的东部伊朗人民。

Sindhi are natives of the Sindh Province of Pakistan.信德人是巴基斯坦信德省的本地人。This ethnic group forms 14.1% of Pakistan’s population.这个族裔占巴基斯坦人口的14.1％。Sindh Province was one of the places to be influenced by Islam because of its location信德省因其地理位置而成为受伊斯兰教影响的地方之一Sindhi’s culture is heavily influenced by Islam especially the traditional firstnames.信德人的文化在很大程度上受到伊斯兰教的影响，尤其是传统的名字。

4:Saraiki: 佐良木族Saraiki is a subgroup of Punjabi people in Pakistan and speaks Saraiki dialect spoken by the Punjabi.佐良木族是巴基斯坦旁遮普人的一个子类别，讲旁遮普语所说的佐良木方言。This ethnic group forms 8.4% of the Pakistani population although the majority of Saraiki are counted among the Punjabi groups.尽管佐良木族的大多数都属于旁遮普族，但这族裔占巴基斯坦人口的8.4％。

Muhajirs are also called “Urdu speaking people.”穆哈吉尔也被称为“讲乌尔都语的人”。Muhajir who are mainly of Arabic origin forming 7.6% of the population.穆哈吉尔人主要来自阿拉伯裔，占人口的7.6％。Muhajirs are a collective multiethnic group who emerged through the migration of Indian Muslims from various parts of India to Pakistan starting in 1947, as a result of the world’s largest mass migration.穆哈吉尔是一个多种族的集体团体，由于世界上规模最大的大规模移民活动，从1947年开始，印度穆斯林从印度各地迁移到巴基斯坦，这些人因此而产生。

6:Balochi: 俾路支族
