英语倍数的表达方法高考题（高中英语常用倍数的表达句型）

倍数表达法是高中英语教学的重点，也是历届高考的热点。当我们要表达A是B的几倍时，通常用下面几个句型来表示：

一. A 倍数 形容词（或副词）的比较级 than B

This desk is twice longer than that one.

这个桌子比那个桌子长两倍。

The train runs twice faster than that truck.

火车的速度比那辆卡车快两倍。

This street is four times wider than that one.

这条街比那条街宽4倍。

I am twice older than she.

我的年纪比她大两倍。

二. A 倍数 as 形容词或副词的原级 as B

Asia is four times as large as Europe.

亚洲的面积比欧洲多三倍。

The plane flew ten times as high as the bird.

那架飞机的飞行高度是那只鸟的十倍（高出九倍）

This lane is four times as long as that one.

这条巷子是那条巷子的四倍长。

A Lamborghini can run three times as fast as an ordinary train.

兰博基尼跑车速度可能是普通火车的三倍。

三. A 倍数 the size/ height/ length/ width.etc. of B

This track is four times the length of that one.

这条跑道是那条跑道的四倍长。

This moutain is four times the height of that small one.

这座山的高度是那座山的四倍（比那座山高三倍）

I have five times the number of Mary’s books.

我有五倍于玛丽的书。

The river is ten times the length of the stream.

这条河的长度是那条小溪的十倍。

The earth is 49 times the size of the moon.

地球的体积是月球的49 倍。

四. A 倍数 times more 名词（可数，不可数） than B

There are four times more magazines in our library than in yours.

我们图书馆里的杂志比你们图书馆里的杂志多4倍。

We have produced twice more rice this year than we did last year.

我们今年生产的粮食是去年的两倍。

He earns three times more money than he did two years ago.

他现在挣的钱比两年前挣的多三倍。

There are twice more students in our class than in theirs.

我们班的学生人数比他们班多两倍。

五. A 倍数 times as many/much 名词 as B

He earns five times as much as he used to.

他现在比过去多赚五倍的钱。

We've produced twice as much cotton this year as five years ago.

今年的棉花比五年前多了一倍。

She has got three times as many toys as her little sister.

她拥有的玩具的数量是她妹妹的三倍。
