7.1“some of …”结构后常跟可数名词的复数，此结构作主语时，谓语动词用复数。跟不可数名词，谓语动词用单数。

a lot of（＝lots of）有形容词性，可用作定语修饰可数名词复数或不可数名词。

16.1现在完成时的三种用法

①强调过去的动作对现在的影响。这种用法表示说话时已经完成的动作,但这个动作的结果对现在仍有影响。常与 already、yet、now、just 等时间状语连用。

I have already finished all the work.我已经做完了所有的工作。

Jane has told me the news.

简已经告诉我那个消息了。

Janet has tidied up her study.

珍妮特已经整理好了自己的书房。

Mr Smith has just arrived in HongKong.史密斯先生刚到香港。

The manager has just left. If only you had come a moment earlier.

经理刚走,你要是能早来一会就好了。

②表示过去的某一动作或行为一直持续到现在。这种用法表示动作发生在过去,但一直持续到现在,并且有可能继续持续下去。常与表示一段时间的状语连用,如 all my life、all the time、all day、up to now、so far、in the past/last few years、(ever) since then、(ever) since last year、since two years ago、（ever) since、for a long time 等。

Peter has been ill for almost a month.彼得病了近一个月了。

I have lived in this city all my life.我一辈子都住在这个城市。

We've been good friends since we were very young.我们从小就是好朋友。

Molly went to Japan last year. And I haven't heard from her ever since,

莫莉去年去的日本。自那以后我就再也没有她的消息。

③表示自过去某一时刻到说话时这段时间中的经历。现在完成时的这一用法常用 ever、never 以及表示次数的词或短语作时间状语。

I have visited Shanghai at least four times.我已经去过上海至少四次了。

17.1tell sb. (not)to do dth.告诉某人(不)要做某事。
