Cinderella was a sweet and kindhearted girl, but she was badly treated by her selfish and mean stepmother and stepsisters. One day, the king and queen invited all young ladies to a ball where the prince would choose a bride. Cinderella’s stepsisters went to the ball with their splendid costumes while she was not allowed to attend the ball by her stepmother because she was only a servant girl in rags. Cinderella cried and was helped by her fairy godmother who used magic to give her shimmering gowns, glass slippers and a carriage to attend the ball. At last, the prince found Cinderella through the lost slipper and they get married.
