dont do和no doing的区别（你不知道Idont）
华生时常会思考：人生在世，有这么多疑问，
答案却往往只有一个。
所以大部分时候你都处于“我不知道”的状态。比如：
股价什么时候会涨？
工资什么时候会涨？
蓝酱什么时候会减肥？
“I don't know”
这些我们都不知道。那么你可否知道，英语里除了“I don’t know”以外还有什么方式可以表达“我不知道”吗？
1. Sorry. I don't know.
（抱歉，我不知道）
2. (I'm afraid,) I have no idea.
（我恐怕不清楚）
3. (Sorry,) can't help you there.
（对不起，帮不到你）
Using these phrases we can use either 'sorry' or 'I'm afraid'. These phrases are quite polite.
（在说这些句式时你可以带上“对不起”或“我恐怕”来表示礼貌）
For example:
I’m afraid I don’t know where London is.
（我恐怕不知道伦敦在哪里）
Sorry, I can’t help you.
（对不起，帮不了你）
4. I don't know anything about…
（我对XXX一无所知）
5. I don't know the first thing about…
（我对XXX一窍不通）
These are common phrases for saying you neither know the answer nor anything about the whole topic area.
（这些是用来表示你对某个话题领域一无所知的通常表达）
For example:
I don't know anything about football.
（我对足球一无所知）
I don’t know the first thing about Italian food.
（我对意大利美食一窍不通）
6. I haven't got a clue.
（我没头绪）
7. Search me.
（搜我吧，意思是“你搜吧，你在我身上找不到答案”）
These are slightly stronger ways of explaining that you don’t know anything about the topic.
（这些是比通常语气更强烈的“不知道”的表达方式）
For example:
I haven’t got a clue what stocks to buy now.
（我对现在该买哪只股票毫无头绪）
“Do you know where my phone is?” “Search me.”

If you say “Don’t ask me.” you are probably a bit angry that somebody asked you a question about this topic.
（这些是有点生气和不耐烦时候的表达方式）
For example:
“What does this word mean?”
（这个单词什么意思）
“Don’t ask me / What are you asking me for, there’s a teacher over there.”
（别问我/你问我这个干嘛？那里不是有个老师吗）
10. How the hell should I know?
（该死的我怎么会知道）
This is how you answer when you’re annoyed, or even getting angry.
（当你生气或者很烦躁的时候可能会这么说）
For example:
“What time is my class?”
（我上课是几点）
“How the hell should I know what time your class is!”
（该死的我怎么知道你上课是几点）
