1. be caught in:

陷入...的困境中， 突然遇到，遇（雨，雪），陷入（全套）

They were caught in a heavy rain.

他们遇上了一场大雨。

2. get caught in:

陷入...的困境中， 突然遇到，遇（雨，雪），陷入（全套）

He got caught in the traffic jam.

3. catch up with:

赶上， 跟上； 提出， 想出

He ran so fast that he could catch up with his brother.

他跑得很快，能赶上他弟弟。

She caught up with a good idea.

她想出了一个好主意。

4. catch sb doing sth:

发现（撞见，察觉）某人正在做做某事

I caught a person stealing.

我抓到一个人在偷东西。

5. sb be caught doing sth:

某人被发现正在做某事

The person was caught stealing.

6. catch sight of : 看见（see）
